Scope of processing of personal data

We process your personal data that you provide to us and that we need to carry out our legitimate interests. These are (i) the fulfilment of the purposes of our association, (ii) the management and administration of the association, (iii) promotion and advertising, (iv) contractual matters, (v) IT and network security and (vi) the protection of legal interests. We also process your personal data because we are required to do so by law (e.g. the Petition Act, accounting, tax and archiving regulations). In exceptional situations, we may also process your personal data to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

The consequence of not providing your data may be that we are unable to inform you about our activities, or to provide you with assistance, or to enter into a contract with you, or to effectively fulfil the purpose of our association, or to fulfil the obligations imposed on us by law.

When you contact us, you may be asked to fill in certain information about you. These may include:

Purpose of processing

We use the data you provide to us:

to fulfil the purposes of our association, which are the protection of nature and landscape, the environment and public health, the provision and mediation of services of general interest in the field of environmental protection (e.g. popularisation of the issue, advice), and the coordination and support of active citizens, associations, municipalities, etc. the participation of stakeholders and organisations, including active and active citizens, stakeholders and organisations of active and active citizens;

the above also includes advertising and publicity, in particular information about events and activities that we organise or participate in or that we consider important;

to contact you back and provide you with information or assistance that you have asked us for or to arrange for assistance that you have offered;

to perform our obligations under our contract with you;

to comply with legal obligations such as properly completing the information on the petition signature sheet, bookkeeping, tax, archiving, etc;

to communicate with public authorities and public administration;

to ensure IT and network security, i.e. to ensure the confidentiality of data and communications and the functionality of our hardware, software and our electronic networks;

to protect legal claims and legally protected interests, whether these are asserted by us or against us.

We process all personal data in a lawful and transparent manner. We only ask for data that is adequate, relevant and necessary in relation to the purpose of the processing.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling based on the personal data processed.

Who has access to your personal data

Your personal data will be processed by us as the controller. We may transfer your personal data to our subcontractors to carry out the processing for us or to other personal data controllers (e.g. public authorities or state administration) for the above purposes. Personal data may be transferred to:

to our accounting, tax, legal or other professional advisors;

those who provide server, web, cloud or IT services to us or who are their business partners;

those who provide administrative and archiving services to us;

public authorities and government bodies.

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties outside the EU and EEA.


Method of processing personal data

Your personal data is processed by us or by those to whom we have transferred it, by all the usual means - manual, machine, digital, analogue, etc.

Duration of processing of personal data

We will process your personal data:

For as long as we provide you with information or assistance or perform a mutual contract, and then for the statutory limitation period for legal claims (generally 3-10 years from the date on which the claim could first have been made);

for as long as necessary to perform accounting and tax obligations, and then for the statutory limitation period for tax claims (generally 6 years from the date the claim could first have been made, in exceptional cases up to 20 years);

for the period necessary to fulfil archiving obligations under applicable legislation, such as the Accounting Act or the Archives and Records Act.


Your rights arising from the processing of personal data

In relation to our processing of your personal data, you have the following rights in accordance with data protection regulations:

the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");

the right to restriction of data processing;

the right to data portability;

the right to object to processing; and

the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data.

Your rights are explained below to give you a clearer idea of their content.

The right of access means that you can ask us at any time to confirm whether or not personal data relating to you is being processed and, if so, for what purposes, to what extent, to whom it is disclosed, how long we will process it, whether you have the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or to object, where we obtained the personal data from and whether or not automated decision-making, including profiling, is taking place as a result of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data, the first provision of which is free of charge, and we may charge reasonable administrative costs for further provision.

The right to rectification means that you can ask us to correct or complete your personal data at any time should it be inaccurate or incomplete.

The right to erasure means that we must erase your personal data if (i) it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, (ii) you withdraw consent and there is no further reason for the processing, (iii) you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, (iv) the processing is unlawful, or (v) we are required to do so by law.

The right to restrict processing means that until we have resolved any disputed issues regarding the processing of your personal data, specifically if (i) you contest the accuracy of the personal data, (ii) the processing is unlawful but instead of erasing the personal data you only want to restrict the processing, (iii) we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of processing but you do (iv) or if you have objected to the processing, we may only store the personal data and further processing is subject to your consent or because the data is needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The right to data portability means that you have the right to obtain your personal data that you have provided to us with your consent for processing or for the performance of a contract in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, you have the right to have us transfer that data to another controller.

The right to object means that you can object to us processing your personal data in writing or electronically, which will cause us not to process the personal data further unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing which override your interests or rights and freedoms.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.
